Do you ever feel like you blank out when you write about the journal?
I know I have.
Like, I heard journaling is good for me, that I should do it..yet..what do I write about?
The kind of journaling I grew up with was kind of a complaining one. Like what went wrong in the day and what would I like to change.
And as you can imagine, this kind of journaling brought me more of the things to complain about lol
Now I want to share with you the one exercise that shifted it all for me, especially my mindset.
Instead of writing about what’s wrong and what’s not working I started to journal about the positive aspects.
Yes, looking on the brighter side really does have an effect on us and our mind.
For any area you would love to improve, finances, relationships, love, work, health, peace, write the topic on the top of the page and then write down the positive aspect about that topic.
You might not have yet hundreds and thousands of dollars to celebrate, yet, I can guarantee you there are good things about what is NOW in your life.
When we can focus on what is working, what can we celebrate, more to celebrate comes.
This is a consistent practice.
You can do it before you go to bed or have a separate small journal you can have around you throughout the day and write in the things that are good about the topic of your focus.
Don’t disregard this as “too simple”. The simpler it is the easier it is to follow through and the less resistance the mind will give you.
Make it easy for yourself and take the path of least resistance.
